I love that this was said…

“The outer work can never be small if the inner work is great.  And the outer work can never be great if the inner work is small.”  Meister Eckhart

We constantly project what we are feeling inside to our external circumstances.  We simply are the writer, director, producer, casting agent and star of our daily lives.  This includes what we experience through our work.  Work on making you the greatest self you can be and watch your experience of your work (this includes the people you interact with) shift to something greater – something more meaningful.

If you are feeling bored with your work ask yourself:  “Am I giving all I have to give to my work?”  Maybe your priorities aren’t in the best alignment or maybe you are playing too safe – too within your comfort zone.  Is there something within yourself to develop, nurture or put more of a priority on cultivating?  What’s a Secret Skill within you that needs to not be such a secret anymore – that aches to fully be expressed?

Want some help identifying your unique expression of the Secret Skills?

Discover what you have to offer to others and learn how to explain that in a way that sets you apart from your competition – even those with more experience than you.

All job candidates can express their strengths – but can they also express their unique expression of that strength AND the impact their strengths can have on others?

If you can paint a picture for the interviewer to help them see what’s in it for them to have you around day in and day out – you will absolutely set yourself apart from other candidates.  Why?  Because most candidates don’t (and can’t) do this – those who do come across as self-aware, confident, conscientious and passionate.  People want to align with people who have that kind of energy – don’t you?
